The National Commission of Honduras is composed of the Presidency, the Executive Committee, a Secretariat, 4 National Sections (Associate Schools, World Heritage, Education for All and Science and Technology) and Specialized Committees.

- The representative of the Ministry of Education as Chairperson
- The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- The representative of the Secretariat of Culture, Arts and Sports
- The representative of the Secretariat of Natural Resources and Environment
- The representative of Honduras Council for Sciences and Technology
- The representative of the Secretariat of Technical Cooperation
- The representative of the Private Universities befor the National Council of Education
- The representative of the Higher Education Council of the Autonomous University of Honduras
- 2 representatives of Foundations or Non Profit Private Organizations
- The representative of the Foro Nacional de Convergencia (FONAC)
- The permanent Secretary
- The Coordinator of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network
- The Coordinator of UNESCO Clubs

Overview
The National Commission is cooperating with UNESCO Secretariat, UNESCO Offices, UNESCO Clubs, parliamentarians, Associated Schools, national institutions, NGOs, other National Commissions and the private sector.
