The Commission met in Plenary once a year. There is not Committees
Members/CompositionThe Commission is composed of 6 members from ministries in the fields of UNESCO's competence (Education, Youth and Sport, Culture and Arts, information) as well as a representative of an NGO. The members of the Commission meet in working sessions nearly every week.
Interaction with UNESCO and National Commissions
OverviewThe Cambodian National Commission for UNESCO closely collaborates with a number of National Commissions (Vietnam, Thailand and France) and maintains healthy working relations with the UNESCO Field Offices in Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Bangkik (Thailand), and in Jakarta (Indonesia). The collaboration of the Commission with the UNESCO Phnom Penh Office merits particular mention since the Office played a crucial role in the revitalization of the National Commission and it continually supports the Commission in its daily endeavors.
