Documentation Centre
The Resource Centre (Documentation Centre) of the Saint Lucia National Commission for UNESCO serves as a depository for UNESCO publications and is a reference and research facility providing a wealth of information covering UNESCO’s fields of expertise. The Centre has a collection of approximately 4000 publication titles (with a small collection of French and Spanish titles) in the form of monographs, journals, audio and video cassettes, CDs and DVDs. The Centre’s collection includes a growing number of documents produced and published by Saint Lucia’s Ministry of Education, HRD, Youth and Sports as well as, the Commonwealth, the Francophonie and other diverse organisations. The Resource Centre produces a current awareness bulletin entitled “On the Shelves” intended to inform staff of the Ministry and other users about newly acquired publications.
