The National Commission consists of the following bodies:

Interaction with UNESCO and National Commissions
Overview
The Mongolian National Commission collaborates with a number of National Commissions in the Region for staff exchange programme and joint projects (Japan, Rep. of Korea, China, etc.). It maintains sound working relations with UNESCO Field Offices in Beijing and Bangkok as well as with such regional institutions as the Asia and the Pacific Cultural Center for UNESCO (ACCU), the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan (NFUAJ) and the Asia-Pacific Center of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU).

Description
The project target groups are two ethnic minorities of Mongolia, Darkhad and Tsaatan communities at Khuvsgul province some 1000 kilometer distant from the capital city. Under the project activities, we have established two media centers at Tsagaanuur and Renchinlkhumbe soum of Khuvsgul province and one FM Radio station at Renchinlhumbe soum of Khuvsgul province. The radio station is able to cover 35 to 45 kilometers, reaching to 3000 people.

Description
In March 2006, a Korean expert team on documentary heritage conducted an evaluation work in some parts of Mongolia to assess the current status of documentary heritage preservation. Following this, a UNESCO Training Workshop on the Preservation of Documentary Heritage in Mongolia was organized from 30 April to 5 May 2006 by the initiative of the UNESCO Beijing Office with the support and collaboration of Korean National Commission for UNESCO, Korean National Library and Archive.

Description
In 10-15 September 2005, an international workshop on Elaboration of the joint Management Plan for Uvs Nuur Basin transboundary World Natural Heritage Property was organized in collaboration with UNESCO Beijing Office, World Heritage Center, IUCN and Russian Federal Committee for the World Heritage. The outcome of this international training workshop, funded under the International Technical Cooperation Scheme, was to evaluate the current status of preservation of this World Heritage site and to draft the strategic framework of co-operation between Mongolia and the Russian Federation. This will help to guide the long-range development of the different parts of the joint Uvs Lake Basin World Heritage property ensuring that the World Heritage values are respected and enhanced over the passage of time. Cluster sites Management plans have been translated into the English, so that to have more inputs from international experts

In October 2005 on the occasion of UN and UNESCO’s 60 Years Anniversary “UNESCO Week in Mongolia” a week of nationwide events were organized in Mongolia with the full support and partnership of UNESCO Beijing Office. In ordert to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO implemented several activities.
Some of the implemented activities are:
1) Open Day on Human Rights in the Tuv province.
