Mrs Rut Carek, Secretary-General 07Activities of the National Commission First South East Europe World Heritage Youth Forum Location Porec, Coratia and Skocjan, Slovenia Country Croatia Region Europe and North America Scope Régional From (Y-m-d) 21/05/2011 To (Y-m-d) 26/05/2011 Activity type forum Description The Forum was organized by the UNESCO National Commissions of Slovenia and Croatia and the UNESCO World Heritage Centre (WHC), in close collaboration with UNESCO's Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet) and the UNESCO Venice Office.
Eleven countries from south-east Europe are represented at the Forum: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia, and observers from Spain, United Arab Emirates and Switzerland.
Participants visited the World Heritage site Episcopal Complex of the Euphrasian Basilica in the Historic Centre of Poreč and held workshops at the site.
