DescripciónThe summit addressed several topics such as copyrights, book tax and presentation of European literature awards.
During this Summit was adopted the Ljubljana resolution which calls for a multi-sided approach to books. The document outlines in nine points guidelines for various policy makers in forming the foundations for development in the field of books. These had been backed by key international and Slovenian organisations concerned before the summit.
Apart from recommendations to public authorities, the resolution highlights the role of professional associations in the field.

This Forum brought together those who are making sure that the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions is becoming a collection of concrete projects, including those emphasising the importance of protection of small languages.
OrganizadoresIn cooperation with the Municipality of Ljubljana, the Slovenian Ministry of Culture and UNESCO office in Venice / BRESCE
