Second annual ARIJ conference held in Amman

Some 200 Arab reporters will attend the second region-wide conference on investigative journalism. The Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) network, recently released a specialized manual for the region’s reporters on how to practice more in-depth kind of journalism. The launch of the manual will also take place on the first opening day of the conference, which will take place on November 20-22. The event will include keynote speakers, feature prominent journalists and experts from around the world to share train and share their experience with participants.
Media and Communications Professor Mark Hunter will also be a keynote speaker and is the major author of the ARIJ UNESCO-funded manual. Chief and managing editors from 14 Arab countries will also be present.
