Position: Programme Assistant

Grade: G4

Employment type: Fixed Term Appointment (FTA) renewable subject to performance, and availability of funds, and continuation of the post  

Gross Salary: WST 23,590 per Year (Net Salary: WST 19,108 per Year) and annual increment subject to satisfactory performance.

Leave: 30 days/Year Annual Leave and other leave & holidays as per the Organization’s rules.

Benefits: Pension, and dependent child and dependent spouse allowance as per the organization’s rules.

Medical Insurance based on contribution.

Profile: If you are a Samoan National or have a legal right to work in Samoa as per the law of the country, who is learning-oriented and proactive, believes in international values, and a committed professional interested in administrative and development work, the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) would like to hear from you.

Purpose of the post: Under the supervision and technical guidance of programme specialists, collects information, maintains records and prepares documentation pertaining to programme activities and supports programme management.
