Call for participation at the MOST School: Youth and Prevention of Violent Extremism

MOST Schools are an essential part of UNESCO’s inter-governmental programme on Management of Social Transformations (MOST) which works with governments, social and human science communities and civil societies to improve connections between knowledge and action, connections that are one key to positive social change and to promote a culture of evidence-informed decision-making. UNESCO Beirut is calling for young researchers (currently enrolled in Master or PhD programmes), young policy makers in key ministries and municipalities, and young activists at civil society organizations, to participate in the MOST school organized by UNESCO, the American University of Beirut/Faculty of Health Sciences and Hariri Foundation, and hosted at the American University of Beirut on 18-20 June, 2019. This MOST school will explore policy research linkages in the current policy process on: Youth and Prevention of Violent Extremism (PVE).
