The students and teachers came from Beirut, Bekaa, Mount-Lebanon, the North and the South of Lebanon . The workshop aimed at producing a pedagogical manual that would help teachers to raise awareness among students on the importance of the dialogue between cultures in Lebanon and strengthens their ability to understand the concepts of cultural diversity, interaction between civilizations, cultural dialogue as well as cultural diversity in the Lebanese society and the common values that bind its various components and the importance of developing a youth understanding of public space and citizenship. At the end of the sessions Ms. Salawa Baasiri, UNESCO NATCOM Secretary General and Mr. Joseph Kreidi, Culture Programme Officer at UNESCO Beriut handed out certificates to all the participants.
