AfroReggae promotes the 12th edition of the Orilaxé Prize

The Orilaxé reaches its 12th edition highlighting the multiplicity of expressions as the central theme of the awards. Plurality is present in the award’s name, in its programming and even in the very categories, which were expanded. The Afro Reggae Cultural Group’s award ceremony will be held on the 14th of February, at Vivo Rio, under the slogan "Sexual diversity - live and let live." Roberto Talma is the General Director of the the event, which will be hosted by actress Carolina Ferraz and rapper Marcello Silva, bringing a retrospective/reflection on the subject by means of videos, performances and concerts.  

The emphasis on diversity also influenced the 16 categories. Now there are specific awards for Circus, Theater, Audiovisual and Free Media, as well as Music, Journalism, Communications, Photography, Culture and Tradition, Transformation, Human Rights, Public Policy, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Social Affairs, in addition to the Annual Award.
