31.10.2019 - UNESCO Office in Brasilia

Belo Horizonte (MG) and Fortaleza (CE) have been designated as UNESCO Creative Cities

Both cities join Paraty (RJ), Salvador (BA), Brasilia (DF), Belem (PA), Curitiba (PR), Santos (SP), João Pessoa (PB) and Florianópolis (SC) in the list of 246 municipalities from all over the World

UNESCO has designated today (30) 66 municipalities on different continents to be part of the Global Network of Creative Cities. Belo Horizonte (MG), in the gastronomy category, and Fortaleza (CE), in the design category, are among the chosen. The other Brazilian cities that were already on the list are Paraty (RJ), Salvador (BA), Brasilia (DF), Belem (PA), Curitiba (PR), Santos (SP), João Pessoa (PB) and Florianópolis (SC).
