This book is a promoting tool of the Criança Esperança Programme, which was launched 24 years ago aiming to bring into discussion the main problems faced by Brazilian children. A partnership between Globo TV Network and UNESCO, the programme relies on the strong participation from society and offers an example of perseverance and transparency in social responsibility action. Based on the results achieved by the programme, it has the potential of being replicated with the same success in other countries.The publication includes stories of people and institutions that have been beneficiated by Criança Esperança, showing the transformation of lives through the projects' activities. It also includes reports of coordinators, monitors, and students that participate in various projects of this programme.
