Palavra Aberta and UNESCO in Brasil announce partnership for Media Literacy

Initiative aims at the training of future teachers studying Pedagogy and Languages

Palavra Aberta Institute and UNESCO in Brazil get together in a partnership on Media Literacy, focusing on teacher training. The institutions believe that there is an excelente opportunity to work this theme, since it is contemplated at the National Commonly Shared Curricular Base (BNCC, in the Portuguese acronym) – being it in the general competencies or the specific abilities.

The partnership will be launched today (25 April, 2019), at 9:30 AM, at B Hotel, in Brasilia, by the Executive-President of Palavra Aberta, Patrícia Blanco, and by the Director and Representative of UNESCO in Brazil, Marlova Jovchelovitch Noleto. The event will count with the keynote speakers: Federal Deputy Dorinha Seabra, President of th the Education Joint Parlamentary  Front, and the General Manager of Canal Futura, João Alegria.
