The National Penitentiary Department (DEPEN) launches on NOvember 11 the project “A window on the world – reading in prisons”, in the Federal Penitentiary in Porto Velho in the State of Rondônia. The initiative is a partnership between UNESCO and the Ministries of Justice, Education, Culture and Agrarian Development.
