Training of trainers of journalists on right to information and investigative journalism

UNESCO Kathmandu Office is organizing a five-day event to train active journalists as master trainer on utilizing right to information act for investigative journalism. The trainees will in turn train other journalists on the same subject after completion of their training.
As a part of the project "Empowering people to enjoy their Right to Information for greater accountability of the Nepal's power holders", this event aims to improve transparency of Nepal’s government and the accountability of decision-making through a broader implementation of the Right to Information Act.
