Venezuela has robust mass media. Saveral radio stations, television channels, publications and websites disseminate information around the country.

The Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Prensa is the trade union for all the worker related to the press and is a member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).

However, Venezuela does not have figures from outside the government that encourage Media Accountability System (MAS), which remains a relatively unknown concept and requires more promotion.
