Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua and Barbuda’s population is served by two daily newspapers, one weekly paper, and ten radio stations, including the state-owned Antigua and Barbuda Network (ABN).

According to Freedom House, almost the fifty percent of the population have access to the internet, which is not restricted by the government. (Freedom House, Freedom of the Press 2008 - Antigua and Barbuda, 29 April 2008)

Despite a diverse media landscape, Antigua and Barbuda does not have a Media Accountability System (MAS) in place that can aid in progressing professional journalistic standards.
