Director-General's Report on the Safety of Journalists and the Issue of Impunity

The 2014 Report of UNESCO's Director-General on the Safety of Journalists and the Danger of Impunity is elaborated in the context of UNESCO's International Programme for the Development of Communication (IPDC) which plays an important role in monitoring the safety of journalists and in preventing the impunity of those who perpetrate crimes against them.

Executive summaries of the report are available in English, French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish.

The Report will be presented on the 29th session of the IPDC Council, on 20-21 November 2014 at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.
