The UNESCO-Aschberg Bursaries for Artists Programme is announcing the 2012 call for applications. This call is open to musicians, visual artists and creative writers between the ages of 23 to 35 years old.
The UNESCO-Aschberg Bursaries for artists Programme is announcing the 2012 call for applications. The call is open to creative writers, visual artists and musicians between the ages of 25 to 35.
The programme aims to provide mobility of young artists through art residencies abroad, to give priority to artists and artist residency institutions from the global. UNESCO-Aschberg advocates and promotes creativity, highlights cultural exchanges and the need for artists to enrich their experience through contact with other cultures.
Candidates are invited to submit their applications directly to institutions of their choice. The list of partner institutions and requirements needed to apply is available on the UNESCO-Aschberg website.
The institutions will pre-select three candidates for each bursary and submit the list to UNESCO together with their application files. The review of the candidates are will be made by an international selection panel which will proceed the selection taking into consideration the priorities of the residency, geographical distribution and gender equality.
