The International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) is the Fund established by the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. The IFCD invests in projects that strengthen the creative sector through policy development and supporting cultural entrepreneurs. Its aim is to spark lasting transformational change through consolidating the cultural industries at all levels of society. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Fund is the Fund under the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. It supports the heritage inscribed on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding, the preparation of inventories, and programmes, projects and other activities aimed at the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage.The use of the ICHF may take the form of studies, provision of experts, training, the elaboration of standard-setting and other measures, the creation and operation of infrastructures, the supply of equipment and know_how, and other forms of technical and financial assistance. It is open to States Parties to the 2003 Convention. For more information:

The World Heritage Fund is the Fund under the 1972 World Heritage Convention which finances International Assistance. This assistance is granted to the States Parties to the World Heritage Convention, in order to help them protect the World Cultural or Natural Heritage located on their territories and inscribed on the World Heritage List, the List of World Heritage in Danger or on their Tentative List.
