Mr Pardo is the founder and scientific coordinator of the Cultural Lab at Barcelona Media-Innovation Centre. He is also a member of the European Commission panel of experts in charge of the selection of European Capitals of Culture. In the last 20 years, he has directed cultural institutions and projects in Spain, and he has undertaken extensive culture and development work in Spain, Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay and Viet Nam.

Mr. Pardo has also undertaken technical assistance to support culture and development strategies and projects for the municipality of Barcelona, and other regional and local authorities in South America and Asia, and as an expert consultant for AECID. He is member of the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policies and Cooperation of the University of Girona.

► Honduras: Developing business models for the cultural industries
Jordi participated in the development of an operational strategy that will bring private and public actors together to support the development of the country's cultural industries, with a particular attention given to funding models for initiatives and enterprises operating in the cultural industry, creative economy and cultural tourism sectors.
