Convention for the Suppression of the Traffic in Persons and of the Exploitation of the Prostitution of Others (1949)

The Convention for the Suppression of the Traffic in Persons and of the Exploitation of the Prostitution of Others was approved by General Assembly resolution 317 (IV) of 2 December 1949.

It entered into force on 25 July 1951, in accordance with article 24.

This Convention is administered by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
