Aïcha BAH DIALLO (Guinea)

Ms Bah Diallo has occupied twice the position of Assistant Director-General for Education ad interim. She started her career at UNESCO in 1996 as Director of the Division for Basic Education.
Born in 1942, Ms Bah Diallo obtained a B.A. in Chemistry at the Pennsylvania State University (USA) and an M.A. in Biochemistry at Conakry University (Guinea).
Director of Conakry high school between 1966 and 1984, Ms Bah Diallo was appointed National Director for External Relations and Projects at the Guinean Ministry of Social Affairs and Women Promotion in 1984. She worked as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation from 1986 before being promoted Secretary of State for pre-higher education in 1989. From 1992 to 1996, Ms Bah Diallo was the Guinean Minister for pre-higher education and professional education.
