Lotfi (Ben to his colleagues) joined UNESCO in 1996 as a technician with the Organization’s printing press. After a short spell dispatching diplomatic bags he joined the Education Sector in 2008. Prior to joining UNESCO he worked in tourism and printing.
Ben manages the stock of Education Sector publications in the KMS Documentation Centre at UNESCO Headquarters. He oversees the distribution of some 300,000 publications a year and also provides documentation for conferences and other events at Headquarters and in the field.
After initial training as a technician Ben studied printing and composition (façonnage) at the Ecole Estienne in Paris.
