Western Mediterranean Sea Project

The flagship Western Mediterranean Sea Project (PMO) was launched in 1994 in nine countries from two continents.

This project, which uses French, English and Spanish as languages of communication, aims to promote intercultural dialogue, particularly the Euro-Arab dialogue, and the natural and cultural heritage of the region. Schools in the nine countries are also working on themes connected to ethnography (the peoples of the Mediterranean), water, renewable energy, habitat and biodiversity.

Participants

Andorra, Algeria, France, Italy, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Tunisia and Spain
