Education on the Move
About the Series
The peer reviewed publications series Education on the move was created by UNESCO’s Education Sector.
The Series addresses crucial issues facing education today and covers the broad areas of policy work that are significant to UNESCO – such as higher education, ECCE, skills development for the world of work, HIV & AIDS and education, education for sustainable development, etc.
Through this Series, UNESCO is seeking to make available to education specialists in-depth analyses and original thinking that can improve the relevance and efficiency of policies and programmes.
Authored by leading education and development thinkers in and out of academia, this new Series brings research knowledge - produced by various academic disciplines and within various organizations - to those who can use it to shape educational policies and drive reforms.
As such, it also intends to contribute to on-going discussions on the international education agenda beyond 2015.
