10 ways to reduce disaster in risk in Nepal’s education sector

Experts identified 10 key actions for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in Nepal’s education sector at a two-day discussion among government representatives and development partners organized by UNESCO in Kathmandu on 30 and 31 January.
The proposed actions reflect a coherent and holistic approach to DRR in education policy and planning.
Partners included the Nepal Department of Education, Ministry of Education and the Education Cluster, UNICEF and Save the Children.
