Partnerships for Education web portal launched in Davos
A new Partnerships for Education web portal has been launched by UNESCO and the World Economic Forum.
The new portal was launched on January 27 during the World Economic Forum’s 2010 Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. It aims to build a community of education practitioners around the world and provide a collaborative space for them to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices.
The portal, developed by UNESCO and the World Economic Forum, with valuable support from Cisco, Intel and Microsoft, aims to further the work of the Partnerships for Education programme and serve as a valuable source of information for academics, teachers, researchers, government officials, civil society and private sector organizations all working in the field of education.
Publicly available to all, the portal provides access to a host of important information about multi-stakeholder partnerships for education including publications, videos, key research findings and a database of success stories, among others.
The portal can be found at the following website: www.pfore.org
