National Adult Literacy Programme, Pentecostal Church

The vision behind this programme is to contribute to the holistic and sustainable development of the Rwandese people, based on knowledge of and respect for the human values, including the right of every human being to a quality education. The programme focuses on women and out-of-school youth, and reaches close to 30,000 participants annually in more than 3,500 literacy centres. Over 100,000 people have benefited from  the vocational training centres, community libraries and wide range of post-literacy reading provided by the programme. Partners of the programme and learners alike have shown a high degree of commitment to the realization of its objectives. More
