TVET needed to tackle youth unemployment, says UNESCO's Assistant Director General for Education

The development of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) should be a top priority in the quest to tackle global youth unemployment, said UNESCO's Assistant Director General for Education Tang Qian at a briefing on TVET in New York on 10 July. "Youth unemployment, today, is one of the biggest concerns for almost all countries in the world." Mr Tang’s words were widely diffused in the Chinese media.
