Capacity Development for Education for All - CapEFA
Capacity Development for Education For All (CapEFA) is an extrabudgetary funding mechanism and programme approach, financed by the governments of Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. It grew out of efforts to stratically support Member States thematic and operational needs and provide them with a more focused UNESCO engagement in the campaign for Education for All.
The programme has played an important role in identifying UNESCO’s priority areas for action in EFA and in aligning and harmonising UNESCO’s thematic and geographical focus across the activities of the Education Sector, both Regular Programme and Extra-budgetary.
