Place your vote! Do we need a global education framework after 2015?
UNESCO and UNICEF are leading the Global Thematic Consultation on Education in the post-2015 Development Agenda. This consultation is taking the form of online discussions, a series of regional meetings, consultative meetings with NGOs and the private sector, and a regional meeting that was held in Dakar in March 2013.
One of the issues still to be resolved is the shape of the education framework after 2015. To help answer the question, the Education for All Global Monitoring Report, published by UNESCO, has just released a poll on its World Education Blog to ask you what you think.
When the Education for All goals come to an end, should a new global education framework be set up to complement a global development framework? Should there be global targets to measure progress? Or should there only be national targets?
