Côte d'Ivoire: Analysis of Biases Embedded in Curricula and Teaching Materials

Guided by the TRA implementation guide, a review of curricula and teaching materials has been carried out by the Ministry of Education, concerned education professionals and civil society partners in Côte d’Ivoire. It helped identify the biases as regards people living with HIV, albinos, persons with disabilities and girls and women. The members of the focus groups took part in the project implementation process. The project contributed to putting on the agenda the particular focus on these groups who need more attention in anti-discrimination efforts.
