Emerging Development Trends
As we rethink education and learning, we must look beyond the confines of the education and training sector. Indeed, it is necessary to monitor societal development trends and examine their potential impact for the future of education and learning. These trends have as much to do with patterns of demographic growth and migration, inequality and employment, as with the management of natural resources, the development of science and technology, and that of the knowledge society.
