Pedro Hernán Henríquez Guajardo
is a Public Administrator, with a degree in International Economic Relations. He completed his graduate studies in Public Administration, International Relations and Political Science at the Universities of Chile, Princeton and Pittsburgh. Magister © International Studies at Universidad de Chile.
In Chile, he was most recently Dean of the School of Political Science and Public Administration at Universidad Central de Chile. He has also held positions as Head of the Planning and Budget Bureau at the Ministry of Education (1990 - 1994 and 2003-2006); Chief of Planning and Studies of the National Council for Culture and Arts; Director and Professor at the School of Government and Public Management at Universidad de Chile; Chief of Planning for the National Service of Senior Citizens and Counselor for the Directorate of the Budget, Ministry of Finance.
Internationally he has held posts at International Organizations such as Executive Secretary for Convenio Andres Bello 1994-2001 (CAB-Bogotá), Director of the Organization of Ibero American States for Chile 2006-2008 (OEI-Santiago) and Consultant with the Interamerican Development Bank for MERCOSUR Educativo as well as for OREALC/UNESCO.
