Inclusive Education in action: a new resource
Inclusive Education in Action, a new inclusive education project, is putting together a comprehensive collection of good practices from all regions of the world.
A joint activity between UNESCO and the European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education, the project builds on the UNESCO Policy Guidelines on Inclusion in Education.
At present there are 30 examples on the site, with 20 more foreseen before end 2010.
Submissions are especially welcomed from Africa, Latin America and the Arab States.
This new resource responds to the many requests from Member States that UNESCO should collect and disseminate good practices on inclusion in education.
