New deadline (7 September) for nominations for UNESCO/Emir of Kuwait Prize

The deadline has been extended to 7 September to submit nominations for the UNESCO/Emir Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah Prize to Promote Quality Education for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities.

The aim of the Prize, which is awarded every two years, is to reward activities that promote inclusive quality and inclusive education for persons with intellectual disabilities.
Member States are encouraged to nominate individuals, groups, or organizations that have made significant contributions to the promotion this aim.

The Prize consists of a diploma and a sum of US $20,000 each for two prizewinners.
