UNESCO’s  activities relating to textbooks and learning/teaching materials aim at achieving quality education for all and promoting education for values, citizenship, human rights, tolerance, dialogue for reconciliation and peace. This implies improving access to quality textbooks and learning materials and enhancing relevance of learning contents, processes and contexts.
