UNESCO’s Regional Bureau for Education in the Arab States which is based in Beirut and the eight field offices serving the region promote access to quality education for all as a fundamental right. UNESCO’s strong links with ministries of education and government agencies facilitate policy dialogue and the implementation of projects to advance education in the region.
