An education snapshot for Africa Week (23-27 May)
Africa Week at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France (23-27 May) celebrates the continent’s cultural diversity. It is organized by the African ambassadors to UNESCO to promote regional integration and international cooperation. Africa Day is celebrated on 25 May - the date of the founding of the Organization of African Unity (today’s African Union) in 1963.
