New UNESCO Papers on Mobile Learning in Asia
Mobile phones are helping women and girls living in remote areas of Pakistan to practice and keep newly-acquired literacy skills. In the Philippines, mobile devices are helping teachers better plan and deliver classroom lessons promoting collaborative learning.
These projects, among others, are detailed in newly released papers about mobile learning in Asia, part of UNESCO’s Working Paper Series on Mobile Learning. The Series scans the world to provide concrete examples of how mobile technologies respond to unique educational challenges in different contexts, how they supplement and enrich formal schooling and make learning more accessible, equitable, and personalized.
