UNESCO Recognizes WAD (World AIDS Day) in Indonesia with Launch of Social Media Quiz for Youth
On 1st of December, 2012 (WAD) UNESCO will launch the Social Media Online Quiz guetau.com/kuis-guetau on CSE (Comprehensive Sexuality Education) based on the ITGSE (International Technical Guidance on Sexuality Education).
The online quiz is part of UNESCO’s activity with BKKBN (The National Family Coordination and Planning Body) and the national youth network (ARI – Independent Young People Alliance and YouthLEAD) on Comprehensive sexuality education addressing HIV, Drugs and Sexual risk behaviors for youth in formal settings and non-formal settings (youth out of school).
The Online Quiz is incorporated into the recently launched website http://GueTau.com by ARI which is a one-stop location for information for youth by youth on reproductive health, drugs, alcohol, tobacco and links to youth friendly counseling and services.
The online learning tool will also focus on the CSE needs of young key affected populations with regular Tweets in the duration of the quiz to Twitter accounts of key populations throughout the country.
The tool is also socialized through Road Shows on four different radio stations, as well as in urban shopping malls. It will also be socialized in the upcoming Global Youth Forum in Bali, Indonesia from 4-6 of December.
Upon completion, the winners (random drawing of best answer) will receive smart phones, digital cameras, USB Internet Card, UNESCO Notebooks, etc.
