India’s Buddhist chanting, Ecuador’s straw hat weaving and Italy’s Cremonese violin craftsmanship are among 56 of the world’s living traditions being considered for designation as UNESCO Intangible Heritage during a meeting at the Organization’s Headquarters from 3 to 7 December.
