Open call for presentation of papers and projects: South-South Pre-Congress "Our Own Solutions"

From October 7 to 9, 2019, South-South Pre-Congress: “Our Own Solutions” will be held.

Organized by the Latin American Forum of Environmental Sciences (FLACAM) *, it has the support of the UNESCO Regional Office of Sciences for America Latin and the Caribbean. The activity will aim at selecting the papers that will be part of the Congress of the same name, which will be held from December 4 to 6 in Montevideo (Uruguay), organized by the same institution.

This previous activity will be developed in virtual mode. This will seek to identify concrete projects as inputs of theoretical-conceptual and methodological reflection on appropriate sustainability solutions for the South-South scenario.

General public, but especially teachers, graduates and students of FLACAM, are invited to send summaries on best practices and formulations of theoretical-conceptual and methodological frameworks to strengthen sustainable development.

The presentation modality for this pre-congress will be in writing or in a short video format.

The Thematic Axes are:

• Culture and sustainability

• Ecology and sustainability

• Landscape and sustainability

• Economy and sustainability

• Education and sustainability

Those selected for their most timely, relevant and innovative proposals will have the benefit of presenting their papers at the Congress to be held in December 2019 in Montevideo.
