An exhibition of the works produced by Alain Husson-Dumoutier, UNESCO Artist for Peace, entitled “Dialogue for Peace: the three Sacred Books”, is held at the Gallery Orienda up to 20 January 2019.

This exhibition allows the public to enjoy a selection of works by the artist from a research, conducted for several years, on colors and materials recalling the three sacred books: Torah, New Testament and Koran.

Alain Husson-Dumoutier carries on his mission alongside UNESCO to promote peace and non-violence through interreligious dialogue. He invites the public to take an interest in the dialogue between different spiritual traditions, a theme at the heart of UNESCO’s concerns.

Through this exhibition of his works inspired by the three great monotheistic religions, Alain Husson-Dumoutier shows that religious diversity is part of the common heritage of humanity, and a driving force for peace.
