MAB Programme to participate in forum on business innovation, sustainability and corporate social responsibility
On 27 February, UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme will participate in the IV Encuentro Planeta Responsable (4th Responsible Planet Encounter) to be held in Barcelona, Spain.
This forum, organized by Prisma Publicaciones-Grupo Planeta, is a platform for entrepreneurs, experts and principal actors from the economic sectors to discuss and analyse actions they can take to improve the planet through innovation, efficient management, sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
The MAB Programme will present its activities through the World Network of Biosphere Reserves, as well as various successful alliances that exist between MAB and private companies, UNESCO Member States and other entities in support of a variety of projects worldwide.
This forum represents an opportunity for civil society to meet with major multinationals (Acciona, Toyota, Nestlé, Havas Media and Coca-Cola), the consulting firm KPMG, committed companies such as Signus, Bodegas Muga and Ecoalf, specialized media, the Abertis Foundation and the MAB Programme, among others, to discuss and explore innovative ideas and partnerships focused on promoting good business practices for a more sustainable world.
