Transparency and Accountability: UNESCO’s Comments on the AusAid Multilateral Scorecard 2012
The Australian Multilateral Assessment (AMA), a comprehensive analysis of multilateral partners undertaken by Australia every five years, was last published in March 2012.
Multilateral Scorecards are rapid assessments that capture only those results to which Australia’s core funding contributes. They are undertaken between AMAs and are designed to provide a snapshot of performance. Multilateral Scorecards focus on major developments since the previous AMA and they address:
- broader global level results for each multilateral organization,
- any developments on organizational effectiveness,
- Australia’s engagement with each organization and follow-up action items.
Most results for the 2012 Multilateral Scorecards are drawn from the 2011 Annual Reports of multilateral organizations.
