UNESCO and Malaga CF to sign partnership agreement
UNESCO and the Spanish football club Malaga CF will sign a four-year partnership agreement aimed at promoting a culture of peace among young people through sport, internet and social media.
Under the agreement, UNESCO and Malaga CF will mobilize their networks and communities to promote action in favour of intercultural dialogue, education, the struggle against doping in sport and racism.
The partnership agreement will be officially signed in Malaga on 1 June by UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova and the President of Malaga CF, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani. Details of the agreement will be announced on that occasion.
