WGTA holds an International Convention and General Assembly every two years. This is the main event in the WFTGA caldendar and attracts international speakers and tourist guides from around 40 countries. In 2011 our Keynote Speaker was Mr Hervé Barré, Head of Tourism Development and Culture at UNESCO. In 2013, our Keynot Speaker will be Mr Marcio Favilla Lucca de Paula, Executive Director for Competitiveness, External Relations and partnerships at UNWTO. We invite tourist guides, tourism authorities and other key players in the tourism industry to join our Convention, which is an opportnity for networking and professional development. Pre and Post Tours will be held in Hong Kong and China.
